So after skype chatting with the church, I decided to spend the day exploring more of the city with some friends. This was an awesome day for just hanging out. Here is a quick run-down of what we did:
1.) First we bought a whole bag of lollies (gummy candy) and forced ourselves to eat them before the bus got into the downtown. Yum.
2.) We walked around the city for a bit and did some window shopping in the Rundle Mall
3.) We visited the art museum, the science museum (which was actually quite nice), and the state library to read in that awesome old-fashioned library i found before.
4.) Last, we joined up with the crew from Hope Valley that meets in the city and feeds the homeless on Thursdays. I have been doing this nearly every Thursday and it has been a real blessing.
So that was my second day downtown. Alas, there were no real adventures of which to tell. But it was a nice day all the same. And a good breath of fresh air as I continue to work very hard at the Church.
